About PMDC Recognized Chinese Medical Universities
- In terms of studying MBBS in China, Pakistani students may wondering if the certificate issued by medical colleges in China are approved in their own country and if there is a list of recognized medical universities.
Reformation
- However, all list about recognized Chinese medical school has been dismissed since PMDC (Pakistan Medical and Dental Council) had established a series of new rules about studying MBBS abroad in 2008.
New Rules and Regulations
- According to the new rules and regulations, students in Pakistan must get NOC from PMDC before they pursuing medical studies in any Chines Medical University. In addition, you need to present their NOC when you return to Pakistan after acquiring your qualification in China. After then, you may be eligible to sit the National Examination Board examination for registration of the basic medical and dental degree with PMDC.
Requiremnets
- To get NOC for study MBBS in China, student must fulfill the following requirements to apply NOC for study MBBS in China:
- 1. Application form of NOC
- 2. SSC certificate
- 3. HSSC certificate ( Premedical with minimum 60% Marks )
- 4. Admission Letter in English with clearly mentioned Study Program of MBBS from Chinese university
- 5. Copy of valid passport
- 6. 3 color passport size photograph
- 7. Bank Draft of 5000 PKR for verification fee with your name and the name of issuing band on the back side
- With these documents, you can submit the application in PMDC and get NOC for studying abroad.
- Although there is no official list of approved universities, there are several referable standard for you to choose medical universities in China:
- 1.The university you are selecting should be recognized by WHO or FAIMER.
- 2.The university you are going to study MBBS should be recognized in China.
- Therefore, you may can refer to the list of World Directory of Medical Schools or the list of universities approved by China's Ministry of Education.
