Nanjing City is a historical and cultural city. Nanjing has a very good air quality. People live here are very comfortable.

Nanjing has been the capital of several Chinese imperial dynasties. It has a variety of historical and cultural heritage evident in its architecture like imperial mausoleums, old temples, traditional garden buildings, and museums.

Qinhuai River

Nanjing is a Northern subtropical monsoon climate, obvious four seasons. The average temperature of the year is 16°C, precip is 117 days per year. The end of June to middle of July is the rainy season.

Lukou International Airport

Nanjing Lukou International Airport is the "Gate" of Jiangsu Province, the third-largest airport in eastern China and one of the main air hubs in the country. For passengers’ convenience, there are not only shuttle buses running between the airport and downtown area, but also buses between the airport and nearby cities like Huai’an, Yangzhong, and Shuyang, etc.

From the airport to Nanjing: The 30-minute taxi journey to the city center costs ¥100 or more. It is usually cheaper to take the airport bus to the center and take a taxi from there.

University Introduction

China Pharmaceutical University (CPU), originally the National College of Pharmacy founded in 1936, was China's first independent school of pharmacy and now developed into the top university of pharmacy in China with a wide variety of specialized programs. It is one of the "211 Project" key universities affiliated to the Ministry of Education of China. Its pharmacy program ranks No. 1 and its traditional Chinese pharmacy program No. 3 in China according to the latest official evaluation from the Ministry of Education of China.

As the host institution of Chinese Government Scholarship students, CPU was one of the earliest institutions authorized by the Ministry of Education to admit full-time pharmacy students (since the 1950s) and visiting scholars from overseas, Hongkong, Macao, and Taiwan. Now at CPU, there are 13,640 full-time students, including 11075 undergraduates, 2565 postgraduates.
